Breathwork for trauma release

Individual sessions: $245 per 1.5 hour session
Couples sessions: $345 per 2.5 hour session
Format: Virtual (video call) or in-person in San Anselmo, CA

About The Course

Circular Breathwork is a focused breathing technique that releases tension, stress, and emotional blockages stored in the body. Through continuous breathing patterns, you access and release pent-up emotions and trauma that block your ability to find flow in life.

Sessions last about 90 minutes and are available for individuals or couples. The breathwork creates space for emotions held in the body to surface and move through you, rather than remaining trapped.

Available in-person in San Anselmo, California or virtually via video call.

How it works

Step 1

You use a continuous circular breathing pattern without pauses between inhales and exhales. This activates your nervous system and brings suppressed emotions and tension to the surface.

Step 2

As you breathe, physical sensations and emotions may intensify. This is the release process. You continue breathing through the intensity while receiving guidance and support.

Step 3

The session concludes with integration time to rest and allow your body to settle. You may experience physical releases such as shaking, temperature changes, or emotional releases such as crying or anger.

Who these sessions serve

Breathwork serves people carrying unresolved trauma, chronic stress, or emotional pain that does not respond to talk-based approaches. It works for those who feel emotionally numb or disconnected from their feelings. Individual sessions suit people working through personal trauma, grief, anxiety, or emotional blocks. Couples sessions serve partners who want to release shared or individual trauma while supporting each other through the process.

Who this course serves

This course works for people who want to meditate but struggle to start or maintain a practice on their own. It suits those experiencing stress, anxiety, or mental overwhelm who need structured guidance.

You do not need prior meditation experience. The course is designed for beginners and those who have tried meditation but found it difficult to continue without support.

Frequently asked questions

Is breathwork safe?

Breathwork is safe for most people. It is not recommended for individuals with certain medical conditions including cardiovascular disease, high blood pressure, glaucoma, or pregnancy. Discuss any medical concerns before booking.

You will breathe continuously in a circular pattern for approximately 20-25 minutes. You may experience physical sensations such as tingling, temperature changes, or muscle tension. Emotions may surface suddenly and intensely. The final minutes allow your body to integrate and rest.

You remain conscious and aware throughout. You can stop or slow down the breathing at any time. The intensity comes from allowing emotions to surface, not from losing control.

Meditation typically calms the nervous system. Breathwork activates it to bring suppressed material to the surface for release. The approaches complement each other but serve different purposes.

This varies based on what you are working through. Some people experience release in one session. Others benefit from multiple sessions over time. There is no set number.

Both partners do breathwork simultaneously. You experience your own process while in the presence of your partner. This creates shared vulnerability and allows you to witness and support each other.

Breathwork is a tool for release and healing but is not a replacement for therapy. It works well alongside therapeutic work. If you have complex trauma or mental health conditions, work with a therapist in addition to breathwork.

Wear comfortable clothing. Avoid eating a heavy meal within two hours of the session. Set aside time after the session to rest and integrate. For virtual sessions, ensure you have a private, quiet space where you can lie down.
